Craig Potter

Craig Potter co-founded Soda Jerk Shot with Kevin and Ken because the flavored shots on the market were shots people dared each other to drink, not shots anyone wanted. The three set out to bottle the soda fountain flavors they grew up on, at full proof, without the burn.

Craig leads recipe development for both flavors. The Root Beer and Orange Cream Shots he developed have been medal winners at the two most established blind-judged spirits competitions in the country: the Los Angeles International Spirits Competition (2023) and the San Francisco World Spirits Competition (2021). Blind judging means the judges scored what was in the glass without knowing whose label was on the bottle.

He oversees production in Southern California, works the tastings and trade shows where the brand meets bartenders and buyers face to face, and personally answers customer emails at craig@sodajerk.com.
